Tasting Notes:
 
2023 was a very different vintage to our first in 2022, and our Rose has captured a wonderful expression of what made 2023 special.
As with 2022, our Rose has gorgeous floral notes of pink rose and penoies. It has a pretty colour, and is a lighter bodied rose with great concentration of flavour on the palate.
 
Viticulture:
 
Grown on ancient volcanic soil in Heathcote. Biodynamic and organic practices are part of our philosophy to ensure purity. Twenty-five-year-old Grenache - BVC clone.
 
Winemaking Notes
'Our objectives is always to harvest the fruit with natural acidity and well developed fruit characters. This year we decided to give the Rose more skin contact than in 2022; this has added a great new dimension to the Rose and provides good length in the profile.
 
The fruit has been gently foot pressed, and cold soaked for 24 hours before moving to barrel to ferment'
