'Cortese' is the Italian word for courteous; and a fitting name for this beautiful wine.

Primarily found in the south eastern regions of Piedmont, this varietal is rare in Australia. Grown in the Adelaide Hills, the fruit produces a crisp, citrusy flavour with moderate acid.

The fruit of our 2025 vintage was pristine perfection.  So we made this wine without any oak; it has been fermented in stainless steel to allow the flavours to really shine through. We finished it by allowing it to sit on yeast lees to build up further texture and complexity.

Named 'Margaret' after Charmaine's grandmother, this is a wine that will truly delight.

Food match: amazing with seafood and mild cheeses

Winemaker: Charmaine Joy
