Our Sangiovese is from Heathcote, with vines over thirty years old.  
The vines are resting in ancient volcanic soil which really adds to the beautiful flavour profile this wine exhibits. 
 
This wine has been aged for 18 months, rather than 12 months which is typical in Australia. The additional six months has added more texture, and really balanced the profile. We've used 85% Sangiovese, and 15% Touriga to get that gorgeous Chianti blend.
